SACRAMENTO VALLEY ROSE SHOW RESULTS
This is a new additon to the website. It is a compilation of the recent shows that I have attended or participated in the Sacramento Valley area. The purpose for this page is to highlight those roses that are doing well in the area. The winners' name have also been added so they can be contacted in case there are questions on the rose varieties being grown. Be patient and hopefully during the month of December 2001, I'll have this page in shape.
Bloom of the Hybrid Tea rose, Gemini, a great new rose to grow in the Sacramento Valley area.
SIERRA FOOTHILLS ROSE SOCIETY ANNUAL ROSE SHOWS
A bloom of Veterans Honor, a new red color Hybrid Tea rose that also grows great and is very floriferous in the Sacramento Valley area.
SACRAMENTO ROSE SOCIETY ANNUAL ROSE SHOWS
A bloom of Betty Boop, a red blend Floribunda rose that is always in bloom in my garden.
GOLD COUNTRY ROSE SOCIETY ANNUAL ROSE SHOWS
A bloom of Bill Warriner, a relatively uncommon Floribunda rose that does well for garden display and probably for exhibition.
SACRAMENTO VALLEY ALL MINIATURE ROSE SHOWS
Bloom of the miniature rose, Love Torch, which I saw at a rose show in Orlando, Florida in November 1999. I am still looking for a source of this rose which appears to be different from what I have which has more red and yellow on the petals.
NCNH DISTRICT ROSE SHOWS
A bloom of Climbing 4th of July. This climbing rose is very vigorous and always in bloom with clusters of flowers all over.
